ACTIHEAL D TABLET is a combination of Bromelain, Rutoside, Trypsin and Diclofenac which belongs to the group of medicines called Proteases, Flavonoids, Proteolytic enzymes and Analgesics respectively. It is used in the management of pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, sports injuries, tooth extraction. ACTIHEAL D TABLET is also used to manage post-surgical inflammation and helps in wound healing and has an anti-scarring effect.
Prior to starting the management with ACTIHEAL D TABLET, your doctor might want you to take up several diagnostic tests to understand the existing condition.
ACTIHEAL D TABLET is not recommended for use in patients having kidney or liver disorders, high blood pressure, bleeding or clotting disorders, blood in vomiting or urine and infection. It should be taken with caution in patients who have heart disease.
ACTIHEAL D TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women. There is no data on the use of ACTIHEAL D TABLET in children and elderly patients hence, caution must be exercised while taking this medicine. Always, consult with your doctor before taking it.
The most common side effects of taking ACTIHEAL D TABLET are nausea, loss of appetite, headache, diarrhoea and flatulence. Consult with your doctor if any of these worsen or doesn’t improve.
